The actual conversations between the two main characters in both books (so far) is cringe-worthy, unrealistic, sappy and provokes many eye rolls and outbursts of "OMG". There's wayyyyy too much inner dialogue, and it goes on and on and on. These books could be much shorter if the author didn't consistently repeat herself. But I'm a big fan of Jacob Morgan, so I'm hoping his narration in the third book is better. So that right there kind of runs it for me. I'm writing this review only halfway through the second book in the series.
